'Constantia Sessions' by The George - EP Review

Soon to be released, 'Constantia Sessions' by the garage-pop 5-piece The George is sure to get your feet moving. We had the privilege of getting a pre-release taste of the EP, and man - this one needs to be on every road-trip playlist out there.

Following the release of the single 'Melanin' (also on the EP) they have kept us anxiously waiting. The EP was recorded in a guest house in Constantia, hence the name of the EP 'Constantia Sessions'. The EP is packed with beautiful vocal harmonies and groovy beats and bass lines fueled by lyrics rich with emotion and attitude.

Watch the music video for 'Melanin' below:

The George have been making waves for years, starting out in 2012 playing sold out shows whilst still attending high-school. After a break they reformed in 2015 bringing a new level to the game, and with their fresh and refined sound 'Constantia Sessions' is proof of just that.

Not only do we suggest you put sticky note reminders all over your room to get the EP, we also suggest you get your Oppikoppi tickets ready and get yourself a front-row space in front of the James Phillips Main Stage on Thursday around 14:00! After seeing their killer set at Misty Waters Music Festival, there's no place we'd rather be.

'Constantia Sessions' will be available on all platforms on Monday 6 August.
